    We are currently looking for an Information Architect/Interaction Designer to join our fast-paced, collaborative culture. In this role, you’ll be responsible for sketching and ideating with a cross-functional team to understand the complex needs of our workplace customers and translate those needs into simplified and efficient experiences. You’ll build quick prototypes, in paper or online, to communicate the vision of these ideas.     Responsibilities

    Position Description

    We are currently seeking a Visual Designer to support a multi-year, multi-million dollar innovation initiative to create the next generation of our donor digital experience. In this newly created role, you will be a critical part of the Product Management team responsible for creating simple, social, and smart experiences that inspire Fidelity Charitable donors to make more of a difference with their philanthropic dollars.


    The Visual Designer will work closely with stakeholders in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for sketching and ideating with a cross-functional team to understand the complex needs of our donors and business partners and translate those needs into simplified and compelling experiences. You will build quick prototypes, in paper or online, to communicate the vision of these ideas and develop the concepts through the final design specifications. You’ll also develop empathy for our customers and actively demonstrate what “user-centered” means through your designs. 



    Primary Responsibilities 


    Join forces with the team to solve complex design problems for web and mobile experiences 

    Participate in discovery phase and requirements gathering meetings 

    Participate in user experience related activities such as development of personas, scenarios and user flow 

    Collaborate with team in creating high-fidelity mock ups and specifications that represent visual display and workflows; iterate mock ups based on project team feedback 

    Assist in development of a user interface design style guide that incorporates the visual design elements used across product user interfaces, help develop a visual design library for common user interface elements (buttons, icons, etc.) and conceive, document, and evangelize user interface guidelines and standards 

    Intermediate-level user experience skills with hands-on experience building wireframes and mock-ups is required 

    A portfolio of work must demonstrate a depth of experience in visual design principles with emphasis on user-interface design for software applications, including complex data-driven web sites and multi-screen applications.


    Education and Experience

    4+ years experience as a visual designer, experience designer or a similar role 

    Degree in a related field, such as Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design or Human Factors a plus


    Skills and Knowledge
