The Challenge

The success of sustainable organization's efforts largely depends on the consumer adoption and the degree to which solutions work for and appeal to consumers. For this year's challenge, we are asking individual and teams to tackle a design issue where user centered design and usability is central to the success of a solution that drives sustainability.

We've put together a list of design issues for you to choose from OR you can always come up with your own.

The challenge is open to anyone, groups or individuals, but we are especially targeting those working in and studying related fields such as user centered design, graphic design, industrial/product design, engineering, human factors and psychology. Download a challenge poster for your school or workplace >>

Participants will present their design ideas, findings and solutions during our World Usability Day event to be held November 12th from 6:00 - 9:00PM (at SAS). All participants should plan a presentation around 7 - 10 minutes. Oral presentations need not be formal and can be a poster, prototype, or PowerPoint presentation.
